CathoLock stores your prayer schedules, progress, and preferences on your device. We do not operate sign-in accounts. The only personal data we receive off your device is crash and diagnostic information sent through Firebase Crashlytics when the app encounters an error. This page explains how to request deletion of that data.
Data on your device
Prayer schedules, completion history, and app settings are stored locally on your phone or tablet. To remove that data, uninstall CathoLock from your device. We do not hold a copy on our servers.
How to request deletion of Crashlytics data
To request deletion of crash and diagnostic data we may hold in Firebase Crashlytics, please:
- Email hello@catholock.com
- Use the subject line: CathoLock Data Deletion Request
- Include your device type (e.g. iPhone 15, Pixel 8), CathoLock app version if known, and the approximate dates you used the app
- We will process your request and confirm by email
Because CathoLock has no accounts, we cannot look up data by email address alone. The details above help us locate and delete the correct Crashlytics records.
What we may delete
Upon a verified request, we will delete or anonymize crash and diagnostic data held in Firebase Crashlytics associated with your request, where technically feasible, including:
- Crash reports and stack traces
- Device and app metadata sent with crash reports (device model, OS version, app version)
- Diagnostic identifiers Crashlytics associates with your installation
What may be retained
Some information may be retained where legally or operationally necessary, including:
- Purchase and subscription records handled by Apple or Google (manage those through your App Store or Google Play account)
- Aggregated or de-identified analytics that cannot reasonably be linked to you
- Security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance records
- Support correspondence related to your request or prior inquiries
Processing timeframe
We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days of confirmation. You will receive an email when deletion is complete or if we need additional information to locate your data.
